I believe that, while the pro-life movement and the Obama administration are never going to see eye-to-eye completely (unless the President literally does a 180 on the issue, which doesn't seem to be likely), there is still a way that the Administration could at least "triangulate" on the issue and offer a goodwill gesture to Christians and other pro-life citizens. I call it the "Starfish Strategy" (as in, "made a difference for that one"). Set up a bipartisan commission to investigate the primary reasons (whether they are socioeconomic or cultural) why women choose to get abortions, and then take policy steps to try and remove these motivations, in an attempt to reduce the number of abortions as much as possible.
