We the people request President Obama and Congress enact legislation effective immediately to change laws that promote systematic racism, social injustice and police misconduct.
The following are a few steps to promote equality:
(1) establish "stand your ground" laws as unconstitutional
(2) destroy the "blue blood" mentality that perpetuates police misconduct & corroboration instead of whistleblowing
(3) foster municipalities that are representative of their constituents
(4) find ways to fund departments instead of through economic exploitation
(5) train police in de-escalation tactics
(6) train police to refrain from deadly force on unarmed citizens
(7) dash and police front-facing body cameras
(8) remove frivolous traffic citations from policing laws
(9) ban stop and frisk of minorities
