Building a natural gas pipeline to Valdez where the gas may be offered for export will create long term jobs, offer more energy independence and reduce our trade deficit.
The oil companies in control of this are sitting on the gas as "money in the bank" and they need to be encouraged to build the pipeline.
The pipeline would benefit the nation and not just Alaska.
