Support built-in fingerprint or other biometric gun locks as part of firearm reform to prevent theft and accidents.

I propose BUILT-IN fingerprint or other biometric locks on all future firearms made and/or sold in the United States. Children cannot play with and accidently discharge biometrically locked guns, thieves can't steal them and use them on their victims, mentally imbalanced individuals can't take them from legitimate owners and use them on innocents. This built-in gun lock will still allow responsible gun owners to purchase, carry, and use firearms as per our constitutional rights. The proper owner can still use the firearm for range practice, hunting, and protection. Combined with more responsible gun purchase and transfer regulations, a built-in gun lock can help prevent not only more mass murders, but also prevent individual accidents with children.
