We believe in government of the people, by the people, for the people. The way political campaigns are funded today enable a few people and organizations with the most money, and therefore the most power, to buy politicians who then choose to represent the interests of those few over the interests of the American people.
Politicians in office spend more time soliciting campaign funds than legislating.
We petition President Obama to stand with the American people and insist on campaign finance reform that will end the undue influence of the rich and powerful on public policy.
