The goal of this petition is to force the Obama Administration to protect American citizen's right to defend themselves; from American radicals, foreign radicals, and tyrannical governments. While a national dialogue is critical, it has been proven that laws only reduce the amount of law abiding, protecting firearms.
Our founding fathers found this truth so evident that they made it the second amendment to the constitution. While this petition does not condone a free-for-all and does recognize the necessity of some regulation in regards to sanity, allegiance, and responsibility. It is imperative that American's maintain their rights.
