Every year hundreds of Law Enforcement personnel are tried and convicted of crimes based on racial or employment related profiling BY THE COURTS with or without further evidence.
It's wrong to ask for protection for those who are guilty of abuse of authority, excessive use of force, or hate crimes. However it can be said to be equally wrong to deny the innocent their rights as citizens to protection by law and equal right to fair trial because of their employment status.
