To support the commutation of the sentence of Mr. Marlon McNealy.

Created by M.M. on February 04, 2014

I recently read a story about Marlon Mc Nealy; it shocked me, moved me as well as concerned me. In regards to the United States Judicial System and it's condemnation of some one at such a young age. Before learning about the experience of Mr. Mc Nealy, I never would have imagined a young man (19 years old) could be sentenced to a term of 6 life sentences for a non-violent drug offense. I applaud Congress for it's effort to combat the illegal use and sale of drugs however, I call into question the extremity of it's sentencing practices. Mr. Mc Nealy has now reached the age of 41 years old, having served more years in prison than he has amongst his peers in society. As a nation, we preach about "justice"and "second chance" as a nation are we willing to walk the walk.......? I am.
