Whereas in the recent past, Congressional approval ratings have been at all time lows, and
Whereas Congressional members appear suffer from a disconnect with the public in general, and
Whereas Congressional members appear to act in their party's best interest versus the interests of the citizens they represent,
We the undersigned request:
That the administration support any bill that seeks to reduce Congressional members' pay to the national approval rating when that rating falls below 25 percent.
(If the national approval rating is 24 percent, then all members pay is reduced to 24 percent of their base pay until the rating claims to greater than the 25 percent threshold.)
