Request support for a constitutional amendment to enact term limits on members of Congress. Term limits would help ensure that members of Congress don't end up "homesteading" as they currently seem to do. Term limits should be 2 terms for members of the Senate and 3 terms for members of the House of Representatives. This amendment would also limit the time that one can spend in as a member of Congress to a cumulative of 12 years so a Congressperson wouldn't be able to do 6 years in the house and then another 12 years in the Senate or vice versa. Once a Congressperson has a cumulative of 12 years of service in Congress they are no longer able to campaign for or serve as a member of Congress.
