Support a constitutional amendment to replace plurality voting with a superior system (e.g., majority judgement)

WHEREAS The most common political voting system in the US is plurality; and

WHEREAS Plurality favors extremists winning office; and

WHEREAS Plurality favors having only two political parties; and

WHEREAS Voters don't like "throwing away their vote"; and

WHEREAS The recent political gridlock is a logical consequence of the plurality voting system; and

WHEREAS Superior voting systems exist that do not have these problems (e.g., majority judgement); and

WHEREAS The US has important issues that must be addressed;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED THAT The administration should support a constitutional amendment that replaces the plurality voting system with a superior one.
