Support a constitutional amendment to require all states to apportion electoral votes based on the proportion of votes.

Created by P.M. on November 20, 2012

More than once in our country's history, a President was elected by less than a majority of the popular vote. This goes against the principles of a Democracy. By forcing states to apportion Electoral College votes based on the percentage of votes each candidate receives, the Electoral College would more accurately reflect the will of the people and allow candidates other than the two chosen ones to be represented in the voting process.
