The entire Himalayan region stretching from the Karakorams & Kashmir in the West, to Mt Kailash in the Middle, to Namche Barwa in the East should be transformed into an International Peace Park. As the highest region of the Planet, this should be a place for Peoples from all over the world come in Peace to seek the True meaning of Peace within themselves and in the World.
In this 'Sanctum Pacem' - Sanctuary of Peace - there would be no stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction nor storing of hazardous wastes. There should be free and peaceful movement of people in this entire region, across ancient trails and routes used for thousands of years.
The flora and fauna as well as natural resources like water and minerals should be protected by law and sustainable building standards enforced.
