The United States should fully support the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 (II), of which the United States has already voted in favor on 29 November 1947, and recognize both the State of Israel and the State of Palestine as two separate and independent countries, with their own borders, constitutions, and democratically elected leaders. Work as mediators, in unison with other nations, for a complete stop of hostilities from both sides, and also assure that civil and human rights are respected by both nations within their borders.
