Deer are terrorizing our rural states. They are congregating by the road when we head to church, scaring our friend Fred, attacking our Priuses, and all sorts of horrible things. We urge the President to support creation of the Senate Select Committee on Dead Deer, to be chaired by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, which will investigate solutions to this problem, in particular when it is safe to assume deer dead. Perhaps one of Thomas Edison's inventions, such as electricity, may be of use in dealing with the deer Together we can solve this problem and allow all rural Americans to "continue to farm" safely.
