US support of rebel factions in Syria have failed and backfired resulting in the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Creating the worst terror group to date known as ISIS or ISIL. We should stop cold war era bickering and cooperate with the Syrian Russian Iranian and Iraqi governments in fighting these terrorist. Fear mongering about how Russia is aggressive or our enemy is outrageous .We have a common enemy . That is Islamic extremism. why not work together to solve this problem. if we remove Assad now ISIS wins and Syria will get even worse. If we cooperate to remove ISIS first. Russia is willing to help the US in removing ASSAD by promoting elections in Syria. elections cannot take place as long as ISIS still remains.
