On January 25, 2011 the world witnessed the egyptian revolution and the call for democracy by the egyptian people. However, on June 30, 2013 the egyptian military ousted the democratically elected president and suspended the constitution through a military coup that put the egyptian people's will in vain and revokes the democratic experience in Egypt.
We, the american people, support democracy, and therefore we call upon the US government to denounce the military coup in Egypt and suspend the aid to the egyptian military until the coup is revoked.
