The people of Crimea have the human right to choose their own destiny.
Until 1954, Crimea was part of a Russian federal republic. At that time Nikita Khrushchev assigned them to the Ukraine. The broader people of Crimea had no choice in that matter.
Many Crimean citizens want to return to Russia. Some Crimean people want to remain Ukrainian. Let them vote their choice in the March 2014 referendum.
Insist that Russia along with its allies and the United States of America with its allies respect the right of Crimea to choose its own destiny, democratically.
