Support the Deployment of Aids Relief to the Philippines for Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) Victims

Created by A.D. on November 15, 2013

Super Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines just a few days ago. Unimaginable death and destruction in the Philippines has been reported all over the world. Today it is estimated that the death toll has reached 3,621 and there are 580,000 displaced individuals. Local relief efforts to help the typhoon victims are going strong. Hundreds of volunteers and thousands of individual and corporate donors have flocked to The Rizal Center, located at 1332 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60613. More than 80 pallets of medical supplies, first aid and nonperishable food and hundreds of boxes of adult and children’s clothing have been collected. Please support the deployment of the Illinois Air National Guard to transport these goods to the Philippines and the victims of this disaster.
