Support Designating Election Day as a Federal Holiday

With efforts in a number of states throughout the country to suppress voters and to make it more difficult for voters to cast their vote, the American electorate is under attack like never before. The presidentially-appointed Bauer-Ginsberg Commission has made a number of recommendations for improving the election process in the United States, but they did not include making Election Day a federal holiday in their final list. If the Tuesday after the first Monday in November is a federal holiday, it will be astronomically easier for Americans all over the country to cast their ballots without worry or stress, and we may finally see a government elected by a majority of all Americans, not just the Americans who show up to vote.
