Support Disabled Military by extending Concurrent Pay to All Medically retired under chapter 61. Not just 20 year Vets.

Created by G.F. on November 14, 2012

Currently when Military members are injured serving this country, they may be Medically Retired under chapter 61. Once they apply for VA Compensation they have to chose between the two minimal amounts to live on, Unless they retired with 20 years of service. Then they are entitled to both.
I would argue that a person made incapable of continuing Their Military Career due to Injuries incurred in the Service of their Country Deserve Concurrent pay. VA Compensation was never meant to be a sole source of income.
