Emergency Jobs to Restore the American Dream Act will create two and one quarter million jobs to enable our country to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure in our schools, hire new teachers for our schools, hire head start workers for our youngest children and give them a chance at obtaining an education. This bill will allow local municipalities to hire police, fire and emt workers. This bill will allow creation of jobs for long term care workers and improve the care of our most vulnerable citizens, the elderly. This bill will allow improvement of our public lands.
Creation of these jobs will assist in our economic recovery by getting our citizens back to work. These are real jobs, workers actually working and receiving compensation for their efforts. Government can create jobs.
