Citizens United ruling by SCOTUS, ensures that the average American has less control of their government. By allowing corporations to become people, we the people have lost our power to the wealthy corporations. This ruling has given employers the right to terminate employees based on their political affiliations as well. Money should never be considered free speach. Money is a means of commerce only, not speach, we are people, not the corporations. This is a country of the people, by the people, for the people, and by allowing Citizens United to continue, we are giving up our citizenship, our voting rights and our power. With it we have no voice, without it we can be heard. With it, trade agreements like the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement will become a reality.
