support an end to gerrymandering by pushing for the use of the shortest splitline algorithm

Created by J.W. on February 21, 2013

Put an end to gerrymandering by pushing for the use of the shortest splitline algorithm (rangevoting.org/SplitLR.html) to draw district boundaries in all 50 states, DC, and Puerto Rico. As evidenced by the most recent election, excessive gerrymandering has led to the disenfranchisement of millions of voters. The shortest splitline algorithm is a set of rules that can be quantified and enforced, as opposed to relying on the objectivity of the people charged with drawing/redrawing districts. This is the fairest system to guarantee proper representation of the People in government.
