Support the establisment of humanist chaplains in the United States military. Clarify that all service members are welcome and may be counseled on spiritual and moral matters without the perception of exclusion of individuals who lack or possess supernatural beliefs or who do not belong to a specific faith group.
Leaders should not use their position to influence individuals or the chain of command to adopt the leader's own personal religion. Any leader that violates these principles or unduly restricts humanists candidacy for the chaplaincy will be appropriately disciplined.
