Support Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act

Created by K.S. on October 27, 2011

Improvements to the employment-based immigration and green card process by supporting HR 3012 - the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act.

The current immigration system is broken, causing hardship for highly skilled immigrants and their families - myself and my family being among them. There are up to a million such applicants who are doomed to wait for up to 30 years to receive their green cards. This issue has been causing massive brain drain to other competing economies, which ultimately hurts U.S. innovation, in addition to preventing creation of new jobs and hindering the economic recovery.

HR 3012 has bipartisan support in Congress, which is a significant accomplishment considering the current political climate. It will drastically reduce wait times for applicants from 30 years
