350,000 teens give birth every year. Emergency contraception can be taken to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. The FDA recently ruled that emergency contraception is safe and effective and should be made available without prescription for all women including teens. The Obama administration afraid of controversy from the social conservatives chose to ignore the FDA's recommendations. Leaving the most vulnerable young women (16 and under) unable to purchase emergency contraception at local pharmacies. Tell the administration to follow the FDA's finding and make emergency contraception available over the counter and for all ages of women.
