We the people, as well-informed citizens, should have the right to decide when we should die. And, if we decide to do so, the option should stand for humane and compassionate death through Physician-Assisted Suicide (PAD) or similar methods. I would like the Federal Government to support legislation to clearly define a person's right to his or her own life! If a person chooses to die on God's time, so be it. However, if a competent person, or pre-designated third party, decides within clearly defined circumstances that their life should end in a compassionate way, the law should not stand in their way. This would improve health care for the sick and elderly, save money in the form of unnecessary medical procedures, and improve civil liberties as a whole!
