The Federal Response to Eliminate Eating Disorders (FREED) Act is an all encompassing bill created to bring awareness and funding for research, education, and prevention for eating disorders. The bill was introduced in the House of Representatives last May and currently has 33 cosponsors. It has been referred to 4 committees in the House, but needs more recognition and support or else it will die at the end of the year. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. Please sign this petition to help millions of people suffering from this illness.
