We seek your support demanding that lawmakers pass legislation to adequately fund comprehensive PTSD treatment for Combat Veterans in need, 6 months prior to their release from service, aided by supportive 24-hour clinics for Veterans and their families.
Veterans in need must receive vital counseling and treatment for PTSD so they will not be a threat to themselves, families and community. PTSD is often curable for Veterans who receive treatment, which is why this petition is so important. PTSD left untreated often destroys lives and causes unnecessary consequences and deaths. Each year we see Combat Veteran suicides and violent incidences occur in such great numbers that we can no longer ignore the necessity to change laws and commit funding that will end this growing national tragedy.
