Gay people are people just the same and they deserve to have the same basic rights that anyone who isn't lgbt+. Religion is the only argument against it and last time I checked, America was a free country for any religion. And if people don't like gay marriage, then they don't have to get one or pay any attention to it. Also they can leave America because calling yourself an American and hating someone who is different is not the pride of America. I'm 13 years old and I have better views than almost everyone in this country. Support gay rights (not just marriage) also support adoption, healthcare, blood donation, and any other thing a straight person doesn't have to worry about.
