Support Google's attempts to foster an open ecosystem in software by supporting Google's case against Oracle

Created by C.S. on June 29, 2015

Having an open echo ecosystem is essential to foster innovation and job growth in the software industry. Oracle has brought a bogus case against Google on the issue of patenting an API. An API is an expression of a software developers intent to write good software. This intent cannot be owned by an entity nor should it be allowed to be bought and sold in the market. In order to protect the freedom and liberty of software developers in the US and across the world, it is essential that the United States should be on the right side of history and stand by the rights of software developers to create software in an open and free manner rather than having the software industry be subverted by one company's attempts to shackle and fetter the rights of software developers.
