We support background checks on all firearm purchase; this will help keep guns out of the hands of criminals. We will NOT support any legislation banning high-capacity magazines or firearms that look similar to military weapons (Assault Weapons). These actions run against the true intention of the 2nd Amendment which has nothing to do with sporting, hunting or self defense. Law abiding citizens own these weapons for the same reason law enforcement does.
