Nowadays, science education isn't as reinforced in an average child's academic career as other subject. It is mandated in schools to support an understanding of science up to concepts that were discovered in 1865. This is dated and, with ever growing technological advances that are leaving younger generations more confused on how they work. I feel it is important for schools to support a more developed understanding of the universe around us. Also, more understanding in elementary, middle, and high school can lead to a more progressive future.
