This is a Petition introduced by The iMPOWER Group, a Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation operating in the State of Maryland.
We have come to understand, based on research, that many Home-Owners Associations (HOA's) across the United States currently have policies which restrict or repress homeowners within their HOA to grow food on their own property.
As advocates for families, children and the environment - we at The iMPOWER Group see these policies upheld by HOA's as counter-intuitive to our American values and to our rights as human beings and living beings on this planet. Furthermore, with increasing droughts, water pollution, and crop failures in the collapsing mass-agriculture, these policies impede our ability to be part of the solution. President Obama, we ask for your support.
