We petition the Obama Administration to:
Support the approval of the project of law (H.R. 3744- Venezuelan Refugee Assistance Act), which will provide immigration assistance to the Venezuelan community which has emigrated to the United States fleeing from an anti-democratic and anti-American regime, For these reasons, under the Obama Administration, Venezuelan officials have been sanctioned for VIOLATING THE CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS of Venezuelan citizens. Currently, many Venezuelans are losing their legal status and are in danger of being deported to Venezuela, where they have fled from with the purpose of seeking freedom, safety, and justice, as well as the guarantee of their lives; rights which have been denied to them in their country.
