To aid all students and their families who are indebted with student loans. Currently, 37 million Americans are struggling under their educational debt. The total outstanding student loan debt in the United States hit $1 Trillion this year and is rising.
The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012 is in legislation in Congress and is stalling in committees. The bill needs to move onto the House floor for a vote. Students and their families are in desperate need of a solution to mounting student loan debt.
We need HR 4170 to stop stalling in Congress and finally pass. The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012 would provide a boost to the nation’s economic recovery. It would help stimulate the economy and restore economic fairness in financing higher education.
