Create Career Options for Disconnected Young Adults
There are 6-7 million Disconnected Young Adults (DYA) in the US. The culture of DYAs is rooted in a mainstream society that is largely inherited, meaning they have to live with the results of social missteps and economic disparities caused by decades of policy making and experimentation by our lawmakers. Life for these emerging DYA, especially for Blacks and Hispanics, is vastly different today than it was even a generation ago. Many of these young people have been put on hold in their effort to become self-sufficient; the transition to adulthood is now more complex, misleading and isolated.
BestMindSet is building a national initiative that recognizes these conditions and seeks to change the paradigm by leveraging digital technology.
