Israel has been under constant attack or threat of attack since 1948. As a sovereign nation she has a duty to protect her citizens against attacks from the terrorist group Hamas. Hamas has openly bragged about their shelling of Israel and her citizens. Hamas has called for the destruction of both Israel and the United States. For these reasons the United States should lend material and political support to Israel in her fight against terrorist.
