On June 30th, 2013, Egyptians started what was considered “the largest political uprising known in human history” where approximately 33 million protesters took to the streets demanding the ousting of President Morsi and the end of the Muslim Brotherhood dictatorship in Egypt. This was not a coup but an obligation by the military to respond to the will of the majority of Egyptians looking for prosperous and free Egypt.
We are US citizens who stand in solidarity with the people of Egypt because we believe in democracy and human rights, and we believe they are the rights of all people, not just Americans.
We ask that the US government support the choice of free Egyptians and do not take the side of a terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group against the Egyptian people.
