Pakistan and India have fought three wars over Kashmir. Both Pakistan-India are nuclear armed neighbours, therefore, Kashmir can become flashpoint for nuclear war between Pakistan-India leading to start of 3rd World War. Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition of Pakistan-India and it must be resolved as per United Nations resolutions, which provide good guidelines towards solution. World powers such as USA need to play their role in nudging both Pakistan-India to follow UN resolutions. Kashmiris are presently suffering one of the worst humanitarian crises in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) at the hands of Indian forces. Human rights violations must be stopped immediately followed by posting of UN observers followed by plebiscite so that people of Kashmir can decide their own destiny.
