The Keystone Pipeline Bill would enable the building of a crude oil pipeline. This pipeline would carry crude oil, which is harvested in Canada, all of the way to the United States. There are three key benefits to this bill. First, this pipeline would carry a massive supply of oil to the U.S., supplying our country with a sufficient amount of crude oil for production of gasoline, home heating fuel, and all other gasoline related products. Second, the sufficient oil supply would completely make us energy independent, not having to rely on obtaining oil in the Middle East, which is plagued with riots and wars. Finally, this bill would create at least 200,000 jobs in the United States, helping to support an economy in dire straits.
