As a proud kurd this petition is a pretty good way of giving a voice for our kurds all over the world who suffered under Iraq’s former president, Saddam Hussein, and are currently threatened by Islamic State militants. I have a great respect for my family living in kurdistan and being betrayed and denied a state and are now fighting for their inherent right to self-determination.
