With the Western states in perpetual drought, and others seeming to have record flooding, we should move water west. California already has an aqueduct system that travels for hundreds of miles. If we can move oil thousands of miles in pipelines, we can move water. All the hand-wringing and water restrictions aren't necessary, when we have the resources and skills to eliminate this problem. Building and maintaining a massive aqueduct system will mean hundreds of jobs in construction, maintenance and farming.
