This legislation should set term limits for both Representatives and Senators. It should allow for a citizen of the US to hold Congressional office for a maximum of 8 years. The salary of members of Congress should also be adjusted to reflect the exact median income of the citizens of the United States provided by the Constitutionally required Census. Retirement benefits should be equal to any other federal employee.
