Both real and fake charities often telephone solicit very elderly people and talk them into making donations that they cannot afford.
More and more elderly folks are living alone and some are lonely and these telemarketers are ruthless in befriending them and then taking their money.
The current NO CALL LIST should be extended to include EVERY solicitation whether for business or for charity.
The US needs to shut down all these telemarketing phone centers, especially in light of how they prey upon the elderly.
