Most politicians would state that political contributions do not sway or buy votes. With the extremely large sums of money being donated to political campaigns it is hard not to believe that votes are not being unduly influenced by money. By creating a system where contributions were anonymous, there would be a decreased chance of influence.
It would be additionally interesting to see by what percentage political contributions decreased.
