Support Legislation Repealing the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and Creation of a Non-Fiat Currency

Created by J.G. on January 10, 2013

The Federal Reserve is a non-government entity which lends currency to the People of the United States at interest. This forces inflation and national debt. Additionally, our currency is not backed by any physical commodity (gold or silver) - and is therefore extremely susceptible to market volatility. Elimination of the Fed and creation of a central bank run by government agents (elected by the people) will:
1) Give the public oversight over their own money
2) Keep inflation to a minimum
3) Allow for fair trade domestically and abroad
4) Protect consumers from market manipulation (example: LIBOR)
