All speech within the halls of Congress should be done while under oath, with full penalties for perjury.
It should never be acceptable that those who have taken a position of authority and responsibility to serve our country, nor those giving testimony to influence them, should ever, knowingly, promote or effect legislation using information known to them to be false.
