Support metal detectors and increased security in our schools to protect our children and teachers from further tragedy

There are too many children and adults losing their lives to senseless violence in schools. All schools should be equipped with metal detectors, alarm systems, bullet proof windows and doors, security guards and more officers to patrol school areas to ensure safety for our loved ones. With shootings becoming more frequent,15 mass shootings in 2012, we need to do something and become proactive in ensuring the safety of our children at school, the same way we do in other buildings all over the world. Our banks, court houses, airports are protected with security and metal detectors, and our country is protected by our military. Who is there to help our kids? We need to provide a safe and secure environment, and have piece of mind that our children are being safe as well as educated in school.
